Kathleen Lizotte

Kathleen has always had a creative streak (music, culinary arts, knitting, sewing), but she dreamed of being a painter/artist. What started as a hobby and a tool in Kathleen's mental health toolbox, Painted Palette Artworks officially came to life in October 2023. Kathleen's paintings are dreamy and ethereal, evoking the joy and wonder of experiencing something for the first time. Using her imagination and the flow of the paint on paper, each piece is a journey into whimsy. Kathleen plays with colours in a way that are surprising, yet natural, allowing flowers to bloom into being under her brush. It is a soothing, meditative way to create. Kathleen's paintings are watercolour and on cold pressed paper, and they explore the connection between art and mindfulness.
