Collection: Ruby Paugh

I'm Ruby Paugh, a Kingston-based artist with roots in Prince Edward County and over a decade spent in Toronto. I completed my BFA at OCAD University in 2015, and late expanded my practise through expressive arts therapy studies at the CREATE Institute Art, for me, is both a creative discipline and a deeply therapeutic medium. My time volunteering with the Art as Therapy program at Michael Garron Hospital strengthened my belief in art's ability to support healing, connection, and personal insight. My work is inspired by the rhythms of everyday life - how people live, interact, and form community. I'm drawn to the subtle influences and shared experiences that bring us together, and I explore these themes through a practice rooted in observation, realism, and quiet emotion.
