Important Dates
October 10th: Pay your non-refundable $25.00 participation fee by clicking here.
October 10th: Complete the Vendor Agreement & Liability Waiver.
October 30th: Deadline to submit vendor biographies, product listings, and product photos.
General FAQ
How many products should I submit to the market?
You may submit between one to ten products.
Each product listing can have up to 10 variations (colourways, styles, sizes).
What is the commission collected by Kingston Artist Events?
30%
Am I required to provide packing supplies for my products?
No, this is provided by Kingston Artist Events!
-Mostly.- The only time we ask you to use some of your own packing supplies is for items that are very breakable that are being shipped through the mail! You will be notified when this is the case.
How are payments handled during the market?
All payments are completed through the online market website.
How do I get paid for my sales during the market?
After the market, you will receive a sales summary which will outline any sales you made during the market and how much is owed to you.
Payments will be sent by e-transfer to the email address you provide on your submission form.
Our goal is to complete all payments within 2 weeks following the market.
Social Media
1. Please tag us @kingstonartistevents when you have work in progress / sneak peeks etc. When you tag us in your posts, we are sure to see it and can then reshare in our stories!
2. If you want us to share specific products that are for the market, please direct message them on Instagram & Vanessa will share as your turn comes up. We are following a schedule to ensure everyone is shared equally (excluding resharing tagged content, which we do as it comes up when relevant).
3. VIDEOS: If you'd like to send Vanessa short [~10seconds] clips of you creating/ you working on your products via instagram, she will be featuring these clips in reels to help promote the event.
4.REELS - collaborate!:If you are posting a reel and would like to invite us to collaborate so that it shows up on both of our pages, please do! We will accept at least one reel collaboration per artist.

Vanessa has added everyone she could find as co-hosts to the Facebook event. If you did not get an invite, and want to be listed as a co-host on the event, please message Vanessa directly on Instagram (Kingston Artist Events) or Facebook and she will add you.

Contests
We often run various contests through social media to help promote the event. We encourage you to share these posts as they come up.
Submitting Products For Online
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- You can have up to a maximum of 10 listings - you do not have to use all 10
- Each listing can have up to 10 variations. (For example, if you make pottery your listing might be for a coffee mug and the variations might be for different colours of that style of mug.)
- If you have customizable items, please make a note in your product description of what information you want people to leave in the comment box.

Deadline: October 30th at midnight. If you need additional time please let us know!
STEP #1: A online form will be available soon. This will walk you through all of the details we need to list your products.
STEP #2: Make sure to edit photos & rename them according to the information below.

Photo Uploads
PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS
Number of photos to submit:
Each product listing can have 1-3 listing photos + 1 photo per variation.
Size & shape of photos:
Photos should be sized to 1MB or less.
AT LEAST ONE of the product photos must be 1080x1080 pixels (square) and have a white or clean, uncluttered background.
PHOTO NAMING
Please rename your photos according to the following naming scheme before uploading them into the form.
EXAMPLE
Product Name: Coffee Mug
Variation Names: Robin’s Egg Blue, Perfect Purple
So the main listing photos would be named:
Coffee Mug 1.jpg
Coffee Mug 2.jpg
Coffee Mug 3.jpg
And any variation photos would be named:
Coffee Mug - Robins Egg Blue.jpg
Coffee Mug - Perfect Purple.jpg
Product Drop-Offs
Products can be dropped off anytime Monday & Tuesday - but check here for updates closer to the event. :)
