Collection: Lynda Lynn
Influenced by the Canadian landscape and using subjective colour, Lynda’s unique style of abstracted realism leans toward nonrepresentational forms of expression.
She likes to engage the viewer by leaving something for their imagination to complete. Her work is a study of complexity, simplicity, thoughtful experiences, whimsey …carried through a lifelong journey defined by gestures of brushwork …marks on a surface … always looking for the abstract, unpredictable, contradictory, spontaneous. But it always comes back to the sheer joy of images pulsing in riveting colour and light.
She was a founding director and an instructor at the Muskoka School of the Arts and has shared her knowledge at various workshops throughout Canada. Lynda is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists, Ontario Society of Artists, and of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto
Lynda’s paintings hang in private and corporate collections internationally.
