Collection: Nadine Baker

Trained professionally as an illustrator and visual artist in Toronto, with a graduate business degree, Nadine’s passion for the arts led her to arts management as Director of the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning for its first 7 years.

Returning her to roots as an artist since retirement, Nadine creates dynamic art with the hope to elicit in others the same wonder that she feels about simple vistas and scenes in Southeastern Ontario. With her painter and illustrator eye, and ability to capture the effects of light and depth, she aims to evoke an appreciation for the beauty around us, away from phones and monitors.

Nadine has produced commissioned work and has participated in several Kingston and Ottawa area fine art exhibitions. An avid plein air artist, she has partnered with small businesses in Prince Edward County to integrate business and the arts. In 2025, she hopes to further develop relationships melding different sectors together in Kingston.
